At the Law Society's Annual lunch at the Carrington House Hotel local Solicitors and their guests were welcomed by President Joss Payne who reported that the time for economic celebration had arrived. Tongue in cheek he said that with National output having risen by a massive 0.1% in the quarter to December he could assure us that we are out of recession.

Joss Payne also welcomed the 18 Official guests, including The Mayor of Bournemouth Councillor Beryl Baxter, Tim Saunders Business Editor Bournemouth Daily Echo and Mr Sheriff Payne, Coroner for Bournemouth Poole and Eastern Dorset.

The guest speaker Matt Le Tissier spoke about his careers as a professional Footballer and now TV pundit which was highly entertaining."
