As the final event of my Presidential year I invite you to our Annual Dinner to be held at the
Hilton Hotel, Terrace Road, Bournemouth BH2 5EL
on Friday 17th March 2017. I look forward to an evening of fine dining, excellent company and an extremely entertaining, much sought after speaker – back by popular demand– His Honour Judge Martin Dancey
Carol Maunder
Martin Dancey was a family practitioner with local firm Ellis Jones from his admission in 1981 until appointment as a district judge in 1999. Last year he was appointed as a circuit judge, happily (for him at least) continuing to sit in Bournemouth hearing family and civil cases.
Martin was appointed as a tutor judge with the Judicial College Family Team in 2009 and has been a Course Director since 2013, spending much of his time planning family courses, writing materials and delivering talks to fellow judges.
Away from the law Martin and his wife Hills enjoy music and sailing. They have two grown up daughters, one a writer, the other a student veterinary nurse.
